Rob's Tippy Toe (sport) was one of the first three named plants I bought in August 1998. Sadly, I lost it during the winter of 2001/02.

When I bought the plant I had no idea what a "sport" was, but I was soon to find out. The original Rob's Tippy Toe is supposed to have white petals heavily shaded (all around the edge) in purple-blue.

This is probably one of my favourite plants. It had gorgeous symmetrical foliage and I simply love those serrated medium green leaves. The flowers were breathtaking, and I don't care one bit that I didn't have a true blooming Rob's Tippy Toe.
